A silver plated mezuzah handcrafted in Jerusalem and decorated with the Hebrew letter Shin, for “Shaddai”, the Almighty.
On the doorpost of almost every Jewish home you will find a small case known as a mezuzah. This one is handcrafted in Jerusalem and bears the letter Shin, which stands for “Shaddai”, translated as The Almighty.
According to Jewish tradition, the mezuzah belongs on the right side of the door, on the lower part of the upper third of the doorpost, within about 3 inches of the doorway opening.
A mezuzah on the doorpost reminds us to keep the word of God each time we come and go. It is a perfect gift for a new home or office, a wedding or a housewarming.
