Copper Mezuzah with Breastplate Stones, Handcrafted in Jerusalem
Warm copper and twelve small stones make this mezuzah stand out on any doorpost. The stones recall the Hoshen, the breastplate worn by the High Priest, with one stone for each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel.
Inside is the blessing for hanging on the doorpost: “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.” (Deuteronomy 6:4) The same passage commands, “And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thy house and upon thy gates.” (Deuteronomy 11:20)
By tradition the mezuzah is placed on the upper right side of the doorpost, within about 3 inches of the doorway opening, inside or outside the home. A perfect gift for home or office.
