Shipping, Payments, Refunds & Returns Policies

Jerusalem Artists’ Company accepts payment via major credit cards, subject to the terms and conditions of the customer’s credit card provider.

All prices displayed on our website do not include shipment fees. To receive the total cost of your order, including the shipping fee to your address, please enter your mailing address information and our shipping fee calculator on the Checkout page will present you with the shipping cost according to your preferred method of shipping.

If you’re not quite comfortable shopping online, or would prefer to make your purchase via telephone, write us an email and we contact you by telephone on the first business day after the order is submitted in order to obtain your credit card details.

Payment can also be made via bank transfer. If you prefer this option, please contact us for details and instructions. If you prefer to pay by check, the check should be made payable to Jerusalem Artists’ Company. (Personal checks have to be approved before we will ship your items).

Customs and Duty. All shipments to the US/EU and rest of world destinations may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be covered by the customer. Jerusalem Artists’ Company is not responsible, nor has any control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

For orders outside Israel and the US, applicable duty and taxes may be imposed on your order that are not reflected in our prices. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay these fees to receive their shipment. Check with your local customs office for more information.

Some countries will not allow food items, cosmetics, jewelry, or certain other goods to clear customs and your order may be delayed or returned if an item of this type is included in your shipment. We are not responsible for delivery delays due to severe weather, natural disasters, or strikes, and some carriers may experience delays during the holiday season. We are also not responsible due to delays caused by customs and/or border control.

Important Note: Gold jewelry, as well as home décor and Judaica items made from 925 sterling silver, may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please contact us for details.

Jerusalem Artists’ Company will ship your order to any location in the world. After proceeding with your order, you will obtain the total cost of shipping your order to the address provided with your order.

Shipping charges are in US dollars. The customer is responsible for any import duties or taxes that may be imposed on international orders. Shipping charges are based on the method of transportation which you choose:

PLEASE NOTE

Jerusalem Artists’ Company usually has all products in stock. However the company maintains the right to inform you, within 48 hours of your purchase, if the item/s you have chosen is out of stock. We will notify you how long it will take us to obtain the item/s, and ask you if prefer to wait for the item, purchase a replacement item, receive a credit note for future purchases, or a full refund.

Jerusalem Artists’ Company does not take any responsibility for delivery to PO Boxes. We do not recommend delivery to PO boxes, however, if a PO Box is included in your order, the customer will assume any and all responsibilities/risks for late delivery and/or lost items.

If a customer requests a printed message for delivery on the package, such as “Leave at the door if no one is at home,” the customer will assume full responsibility if the package is not received.

If a customer submits an incorrect delivery address and/or the package is not picked up from a PO Box and/or a post office, and the package is returned to us, the customer will assume all potential customs/return shipping charges, and our cost of reshipping the package the to correct address.

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed when you click on the ‘Get a Quote’ link after adding a product/s to your shopping cart.

The estimated delivery time of your order is calculated by factoring in processing time and shipping time. Since all of our products involve manual packaging and address labeling, within 2-3 days following receipt of your order, we will send you an order notification and a time schedule for delivery. All orders are shipped according to your preferred delivery option, as detailed below.

Please note, while we make every effort to be as accurate as possible, delivery times are estimated. Jerusalem Artists’ Company is not responsible for delivery delays due to local customs, postal schedules, holidays, or weather conditions. We can assure you that we do our utmost to process, package, and ship your items as quickly as possible.

Insurance

All products are fully insured. However, we cannot be held responsible for packages being held up at any country’s customs offices.

Shipment of Shofars

The customers will assume any and all responsibilities for any compliance issues involved in the shipment of Shofars, including meeting all compliance regulations for the import of animal products. The customer is solely responsible for handling all matters regarding any customs-related issues, including but not limited to, the inspection, confiscation, or fees charged regarding the shipment of the Shofars.

Multiple Items in a Single Order

If your order includes several items with different availability times, unless you notify us via email, multiple-item orders are held for shipment until all items are available. For example, if your order contains three items, and two have an availability of 24 hours, while one has an availability of 2-3 days, your order will ship in 2-3 days.

Shipping in Israel

Orders are generally dispatched within 1-2 days following receipt of payment. Standard delivery for orders in Israel is via registered mail (Israeli Postal Services) and generally takes 3-7 business days. This service includes a tracking number.

The standard fee for shipping in Israel is NIS 25. Express and courier service is available upon request. Express/courier service charges apply. Contact us for more information.

International Shipping

Jerusalem Artists’ Company offers worldwide shipping. Shipping options and estimated shipping times may be subject to change. All orders have a tracking ID which will be provided upon shipment. Shipping fees include handling and packing fees, as well as postage costs

$15.00 per item. Please note that heavy items, namely ceramics, may incur additional shipping fees.

·         For small orders, we ship items via EMS (Express Postal Services/Israel Post). Door-to-door delivery service generally takes 3-7 business days.

·         For medium-size orders that are time-sensitive, we ship via air freight. The approximate time on route to the US/EU and other international destinations is 10 business days.

·         For large orders, we ship via sea freight. The approximate time on route to the US/EU and other international destinations is 24 business days.

We would like you to be fully and completely satisfied when you do business with us. Whether you are a first-time customer or a loyal long-time customer, we want you to order with confidence.

Jerusalem Artists’ Company is committed to having your order arrive in excellent condition. Therefore, if your product arrived broken or otherwise defective, you must let us know within seven days of receiving your package. We ask that you send us a photo of the damaged item via email, and we will replace the item, offer you store credit, or refund the cost of item, including return shipping costs.

In case you changed your mind? We are happy to refund or exchange unwanted items in perfect condition within 21 days of receipt. When returning non-defective items, you are responsible for the shipping fees and all other inferred costs. Please be aware that all items to be returned must be sent directly to our offices in Israel or we will be unable to begin processing your refund. All products must be returned in their original unopened package.

We go to great lengths to provide the highest quality products, handpicking every item before sending it to our customers. If you are not satisfied because you believe the product was not as shown in the photo or described on our website, please take a photo of the item, stating the reason you want to return the item, and send it to us via email.

Personalized items, such as engraved pendants rings, cannot be returned.

If there are any customs charges made to us for returned goods, the customer will assume full responsibility for these charges – proof of charge will be given to the customer. To help avoid these charges please state ‘Returning Goods’ clearly on the package being returned.
Shipping costs for exchanging goods will be charged to the customer.

Refund Period

Products must be returned BY REGISTERED MAIL ONLY within 7 days of having received the order. We offer free returns or exchanges within 21 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.

  • Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging
  • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
  • If goods are damaged on arrival and you alert Jerusalem Artists’ Company within one week of receipt of goods, all monies will be fully refunded
  • Personalized items cannot be refunded

Packages Not Collected

If a note is left by the postal service for a customer to collect a package sent from Jerusalem Artists’ Company and the package is returned to us because it was not collected (typically after 2 weeks), we will charge shipping costs a second time for re-shipping the order.

If a package is returned to us because the customer filled in an incorrect shipping address, we will charge shipping costs a second time for re-shipping the order. Post office charges for returning packages to Jerusalem Artists’ Company are the sole responsibility of the customer if he/she requires the package to be resent.

Likewise, as most of the items displayed are handmade, the item that you receive may vary slightly from the product in the picture. Ring Sizes

In Israel, we use the metric system. However, as many of our customers abroad use inches to measure, we translated the sizes into inches. Please note that the conversion is not exact, and sometimes there may be a slight discrepancy. International sizing for rings may be viewed here.
