Menorah DIY Mosaic Kit from the Holy Land
“You shall make a lampstand of pure gold… You shall make the seven lamps for it; and the lamps shall be set up so as to give light on the space in front of it.” (Exodus 25:31-40)
The menorah, the great seven-branched candelabra of the Temple, is one of the oldest symbols of the Jewish faith and the national symbol of the State of Israel. Each evening the Kohanim, the priests, lit it in the sanctuary, and each morning they cleaned it, replaced the wicks and poured in fresh olive oil.
This kit is easy to assemble, even for a novice, and teaches techniques you can use again. It is a great way to introduce children to mosaic art and to the mosaics of the Holy Land. The kit is packed in a wooden box with a clear top. Stones can be cut with scissors.
