A mini do-it-yourself mosaic kit with the fish, the early symbol of the Christian faith found in many mosaics of the Holy Land.
Why a fish? The Greek word “ichthys” is an acronym for “Iesous Christos Theou Yios Soter”, which means Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. The fish is believed to be the first symbol that identified Christians, before the cross, and it appears in many ancient mosaics in the Holy Land.
With this mini kit you can make that symbol with your own hands. It is easy to assemble, even for a novice, and it is a good way to introduce young children to mosaic art.
The stones can be cut with scissors, and everything you need is included. The finished mosaic is a perfect small addition to a home, office or Sunday school room.
