A hand painted date palm window art decal by Katja Barlia. It clings to glass, mirrors and tiles, and can be removed and reused.
“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalm 92:12-13)
The date palm is one of the seven species that grew in the Land of the Bible, and it is a common sight in Israel today. This hand painted decal brings its shape, and the warmth of that land, to your home. It adheres to any smooth, clean surface and comes away without leaving a trace.
Katja was born in Hannover, Germany, and has made her home in Israel for 30 years. A former florist, she draws on Israel’s scenery, from the Dead Sea to the Mediterranean shore. Her window art is sold exclusively by Jerusalem Artists’ Company.
Jerusalem Artists’ Company is a proud supplier to the Museum of the Bible Store in Washington, D.C.
